If your want to eat in class, this will be the place for just that. In a building that once was a historic theater became a high-end bar and restaurant. Of course, you can find the national dish on the menu- Cod and many other tasty French and Portuguese dished as well. The restaurant is well designed with fine taste while you can enjoy restored frescoes and views of the Avenida. This place is quite fancy, so when coming here you should wear an appropriate outfit.
If you are traveling without a budget to hold you back, you should definitely try this place. This two Michelin star restaurant operated by the Chef José Avillez, was chosen in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list- 42nd place. Cervejaria Ramiro is an extremely popular restaurant. Unfortunately, it is so popular that even if you reserved a table, you would have to wait on a que till your table is ready. However, once you get in, you will not be disappointed. You will walk into a different realm with a fantastic atmosphere, with market like energies. We recommend starting the evening with a Martini and move on from there. The seafood is exquisite and pairs off fantastically with a local wine. All served to perfection.
At this beautifully designed restaurant you will find a floor made of azulejo-tiles with a fancy setting, fits perfectly in the neighborhood. The food is terrific and gives you the opportunity to enjoy the tasty famous local dishes brought to you in both traditional and contemporary methods. The restaurant is quite popular, firstly, we recommend reserving a table in advance, and secondly, please be aware that there can be times when the food can take longer than usual to be prepared, we recommend reserving an appetizer as well as enjoying a drink while you wait.
Here its all about the food! What are Petisco? Some may confuse them with the Tapas (small bites of bread with ham and cheese) from Spain. In Portugal you have the special Petisco which is small version of large plates. This is great because it allows you to order different dishes you would like to taste and enjoy many types of flavors in one meal. At Petisco Saloio they take this one step forwards with adding exotic aromas to their dishes.
This Two Michelin Star restaurant celebrates Portugal’s traditional cuisine with their celebrity chef Henrique Sá Pessoa, some will call him a kitchen wizard. You can choose the option of a five-course tasting menu, Costa a Costa, inspired by the sea, and Alma, a selection of the chef’s favorite dishes. Alma means “Soul”, no doubt you can call the food here- “Food for the soul”.
With wonderful river and city views, located on the top floor of the Vasco da Gama Tower, you enjoy a pleasant evening at Fifty Seconds. It is a bit of a strange name to give a restaurant, but the name reflects how long you must wait in the elevator while it climbs 120 meters high for you to be amazed by this terrific place. Here you can enjoy fantastic Mediterranean dishes thought of by the famous chef Martín Berasategui.
Sitting in a cozy restaurant decorated in Nordic-style interior lined with 18th-century tiles, while enjoying one of the most magnificent views Lisbon has to offer, a lovely glass of local wine in hand is what this restaurant is about. The wonderful French chef Vincent Farges could not stay away for too long from Portugal (Who can blame him?!) and is here to give you a terrific culinary experience in his Michelin star awarded restaurant.
This restaurant is very special. It is runed by the oner chef Jesus Lee Fernandes. A very friendly person who was self-taught in the culinary arts. Jesus’s family migrated from Goa, a place with history linked with Portugal. The food in the restaurant is a fusion between the tastes of Goa which partly was influenced by Portugal and Goan cuisine, with Jesus’s twist on them.
